Alex. Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains how GWB Technologies Ltd (Alex.) uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) on www.getalex.app and in the Alex app. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. Your choices

When you first visit our website we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential runs until you click Accept all. Reject non-essential is just as easy. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site (such as logging in) may then stop working.

2. What we use

These are needed to provide the service you ask for, keep it secure, or remember your cookie choice. The law does not require consent for them.

The Meta Pixel only runs on our public marketing pages. It never runs inside the app, on pages where you are logged in, or on any page that shows health information, and we never send health data to Meta. Meta may combine information from the Pixel with information it holds about you under its own privacy policy (www.facebook.com/privacy/policy).

3. In the mobile app

The Alex app does not use advertising identifiers, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not include advertising SDKs. It uses local storage on your device to keep you logged in and remember settings. If you allow notifications, Apple or Google give us a push token so we can send them. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings.

4. Changes

If we add new non-essential cookies we will update this policy and ask for your consent again.
